Volunteer Opportunity: UP to Us Bike Camp – teach kids to ride a bike!
This volunteer opportunity is from 7/10 to 7/14
UP to Us Bike Camp is a bike riding training program using specialized bikes and a proven technique to help individuals with special needs learn to ride bikes. Riders attend a daily 75-minute training session all week to overcome fear of falling, learn to balance, steer, brake, and ride!
There are many different times/dates and ways to get involved and volunteer. Please reach out to us and we will find an opportunity that matches your needs!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
LEVEL 1:
Finish Line Celebration - End of Camp
On the last day of UP to Us Bike Camp (Friday, July 14), celebrate the riders’ journey! Give out awards at the conclusion of their journey.
*Shifts are 10:00am – 2:00pm, 2:00pm – 5:00pm
LEVEL 2:
Fans in the Stands - One Day
Choose a shift and create posters and pompoms to cheer on the riders. Provide cheer and support from the stands.
LEVEL 3:
Complete the Journey - Week Long
Select the same shift for each day to form a bond with riders on their journey. Be their spotters and cheerleaders as you jog/walk by their side each day until they are on their own. This is the most meaningful volunteer level.
